Profhilo® Treatment NorwichRevitalize and Rehydrate Your Skin with Sunekos

Sunekos is an injectable bio-regenerating treatment that combines hyaluronic acid with a patented complex of amino acids to stimulate your skin’s own collagen and elastin production. Rather than simply “filling” lines, it works at a cellular level to restore skin quality, elasticity and radiance from within

What is Sunekos?

Sunekos is a unique, injectable skin treatment that:

  • Deeply hydrates and nourishes your skin
  • Boosts collagen and elastin production for firmer skin
  • Improves skin texture and smooths fine lines
  • Restores a youthful glow to tired, dull skin
  • Anti-oxidant Activity – Assists in reducing redness and sun damage.

Unlike traditional fillers, Sunekos spreads evenly across the skin, enhancing hydration and elasticity without altering your natural facial structure.

Why Choose Sunekos?

  • Unique Patented Formula – SuneKOS contains the HY6AA formula the only
proven and patented(*) HA+AA mix to reproduce physiologically ratios of
collagen and elastin. The components of SuneKOS are an effective support in restoring the homeostasis of the extra cellular matric (ECM).
  • Natural-Looking Results: Sunekos rejuvenates the skin from within by stimulating collagen and elastin, giving a fresher, more radiant appearance while maintaining your natural features
  • Gentle, Low-Discomfort Treatment: The procedure uses a series of very fine injections, and most patients experience only mild discomfort and tolerate the treatment well.
  • Each Sunekos session usually takes around 30–45 minutes, so it can be easily scheduled around a busy day.
  • Gradual, Long-Lasting Skin Quality Improvement: With a course of 3 treatments, you can enjoy smoother, more hydrated and elastic skin, with results that can last for several months.

Where Can It Be Used?

  • Sunekos can be used on any skin areas which require rejuvenation
  • Face, neck, chest, tummy, under eyes upper eyelids and more.

What to Expect?

The treatment appointment takes around 30-45 minutes, with injections taking around 15 minutes. Your skin will be cleaned, and then numbing cream will be applied (optional). The product will then be injected in small amounts all over the treatment area. We offer this treatment to age 18+ only.

The treatment should be repeated after 6-9 months and treatment results last for up to 9 months.

Sunekos vs Profhilo

Both Sunekos and Profhilo are injectable biostimulation treatments aimed at improving skin quality rather than simply adding volume. Profhilo uses high‑concentration hyaluronic acid to provide intense hydration and stimulate collagen and elastin, whereas Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids to regenerate the extracellular matrix and is particularly useful in delicate areas such as the under‑eyes.

At consultation we can advise whether Sunekos, Profhilo or a combination is best suited to your skin and overall treatment plan.

FAQ

How Does Sunekos Work?

Sunekos is an injectable bio-regeneratingtreatment that combines hyaluronic acid with a patented complex of amino acids to stimulate your skin’s own collagen and elastin production. Rather than simply “filling” lines, it works at a cellular level to restore skin quality, elasticity and radiance from within.

It is particularly useful for crepey, finely lined or dehydrated skin on the face, under‑eyes, neck, décolletage and hands, where traditional fillers can look heavy or unnatural. Results are subtle, progressive and natural, making Sunekos ideal if you want to look fresher but not “done”.

Are There Any Contraindications To Treatment?

We would typically avoid or delay treatment if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have an active skin infection, inflammation, or acne in the area being treated
  • Have a known allergy to any of the ingredients (including hyaluronic acid or amino acids)
  • Have certain autoimmune or systemic conditions affecting healing
  • Are currently unwell or have a fever
  • Are prone to severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)
  • Have had recent facial treatments (e.g. laser, chemical peels) in the same area — timing may need to be adjusted

A full medical consultation is always carried out prior to treatment to ensure Sunekos is safe and appropriate for you. If needed, we may advise delaying treatment or suggest an alternative approach better suited to your skin and medical history.

If you’re unsure, you’re always welcome to get in touch before booking.

How Do You Administer the Sunekos Treatment?

A typical Sunekos course consists of:

A topical anaesthetic cream may be applied for comfort, then Sunekos is injected using a series of precise micro‑injections. You may feel some mild stinging which lasts a few seconds.

  • An initial series of 3 treatment sessions, spaced about 14 days apart.
  • Each session involves multiple small injections using a fine needle or cannula in the chosen area.
  • A maintenance session can be performed every 6–9 months, depending on your skin and aesthetic goals.

You may see an improvement in hydration and luminosity within a few weeks, with maximal effect often seen around 4–5 months as new collagen and elastin are laid down.

Are There Any Side Effects to Sunekos?

After treatment you may notice:

  • Small raised bumps at injection sites, which usually settle over a few hours.
  • Mild redness, swelling or occasional bruising, which typically resolve over a few days.

General aftercare advice includes:

  • Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for several hours.
  • Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas and very hot baths on the day of treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol and blood‑thinning medications where possible around the time of treatment (unless prescribed for a medical condition – always follow your doctor’s instructions).
  • Use a gentle skincare routine and high‑SPF sunscreen while the skin settles.

We will give you tailored aftercare instructions based on your treatment area and any combined procedures.

A full medical history will be discussed with your doctor during your consultation with us to discuss the treatment and further advice will be provided.
